So, dear readers, we have come to the exciting conclusion of our very first giveaway!
First, we must apologize for being a leeeeeeetle beeeeet late with the announcement of the winners. Beth came down with some sort of heinous bug on Friday and had to hide under the covers for about 36 hours before she could emerge, triumphant.
And we can hardly carry on without each other, can we?
Clearly.
So we reconvened this afternoon to do what needed to be done.
And here… are… your… WINNERS:
Prize 1 – Bundle of Sugar Snap Fat Quarters (by Melissa Averinos)
Terri
Terri’s Notebook
Prize 2 - Bundle of Garden Party Fabric (by Anna Maria Horner)
Jana Nelson (AKA Izzy & Ivy)
Lola Again
Prize 3 - Adorable Handknit Forsythia Mitts (by Beth Dunn)
Minnie
Rah Rah Blah
…and as it turns out, all of our winners have their very own blogs, which we strongly recommend you check out. SPREAD THE LOVE, YO.
Now, To Business
We’re just about ready to wrap up the Jane Eyre portion of the BronteAlong, so everybody who hasn’t yet posted their thoughts, crafts, drawings, whatevers on the topic of Jane Eyre, you should do so in the next week or so. We’ll move on to Wuthering Heights next week!
And we’ll warn you, we don’t plan to roll around in Wuthering Heights and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall quite as much as we have in Jane Eyre. So maybe we’ll spend two or three weeks on each?
We’ll play it by ear, y’all. Fast and loose. Unicorn style.
So wrap up your Jane Eyre business this week, blog it, contribute to the Flickr pool, post it on the Facebook wall, and tweet it up, as is your wont. (Of course you can keep on doing Jane Eyre-related goodness in all of those places — God knows we can’t seem to let Mr. Rochester go — we’re just going to be shifting our focus soon to the next Bronte sister, and wanted you to know.)
And queue up your books and movie versions of Wuthering Heights — we ride to the moors of Yorkshire in one week!

Wow, thank you so much ladies! I’m so stoked. (just responded to your email)
I am such a slow reader that I am going to watch the Jane Eyre movie tonight to get caught up. Sorry! I’m loving the book, but dang, am I slow. LOL Thanks for keeping us on track!
I am a slow reader as well! Don’t despair just enjoy. But you are correct it is the movie for Wuthering Heights for me too!
That is hysterical that Terri wrote that she was stoked…my sentiments exactly! (I’m really glad that other people say stoked still by the way). As I said in my email, I never win anything–so I’m hoping that my new little “streak” of luck extends to the Powerball and/or MegaMillions (dare to dream).
I’m also plodding through the book, I’m a fast reader, but I’m actually having trouble finding the time to read. Tonight I should have the 2nd half of the movie (yippee!!!) so I will be watching that tonight, provided its in my mailbox.
